Women Empowerment - Why Is It Important

Do Women have the potential to change anything? Do women have the ability to involve in economic development? What do you think? Is it yes/no? The answer is a big yes. Yes, Women have the potential to change their own economic status; they have the ability to involve in any economic development as well as that of the communities and countries in which they live. Women can contribute to any economic system by the valuable work and promise. They can give their hundred percent. Women are much dedicated to any work they undertake. They have the power to involve in social, economic, political or any other system.

If women were empowered to do more and be more, the possibility for economic growth becomes apparent. Men and women are like the two sides of a coin. If men and women go side by side, there are always better chances of good economic growth. They can change anything that is needed for the society and nation.

Nowadays we can see more female participation in counsels, groups, and businesses. It is all because of women empowerment. It is a sign of positive change. It helps women to engage in economic participation, peace, and development. This will show the ability and potential of women in economic participation. It also attracts women in the development process. But, for such women participation, one thing should be done i.e. many of the barriers to women empowerment and equity should be eliminated.

Most of the women in the world are just limited to the home. They are not familiar with the outer world. They are not allowed to expose their capabilities in society. If they are just limited to home, they can't show their ability and potential to any development process.

Why do women have to live with fear and suffocation? All the fear and suffocation should be removed in order to involve women in any developmental process. Why can't she live her life freely and with respect?

Awareness of women empowerment can be done by the use of the power of media so that the message could be conveyed to the world about the positive outcomes of women empowerment. Every woman in this world should be empowered. The education on women empowerment should be carried out from the base level. It should be made a part of the formal education process.

We can also spread the message through social media like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Tumblr, etc. In this way, we can spread the message to the whole world about the benefits of being empowered. We can show the power of women empowerment in this 21st century. Show the power of women and women empowerment, how we can change the world.

How is Empowerment viewed? Well, it is often viewed as both a means to a specific end and as an end in itself. Empowerment involves the ability to make choices and involves a process of change of all the components of societal formations. It shapes and reproduces power relations and the succeeding distribution of society's resources and opportunities.
